Tiger Woods (lahir terlahir dengan nama Eldrick Tont Woods 30 Desember 1975; umur 39 tahun). Ia lahir sebagai keturunan Afro-Amerika-Thailand. Dia menjuarai Turnamen Masters tahun 1997 pada usia 21 tahun dan 3 bulan, menjadi juara termuda dalam sejarah. Dia juga memenangi empat gelar Major berturut-turut dimulai dari US Open 2000 hingga Masters 2001; peristiwa ini disebut "Tiger Slam", karena bukan diperoleh "dalam satu musim".
Namanya (Tiger) berasal dari nama panggilan sahabat ayahnya, seorang Vietnam bernama Nguyen Phong. Sang ayah, Earl Woods adalah seorang prajurit pada Perang Vietnam: anggota Beret Hijau. Ibunya, Kultida, berasal dari Thailand. Pada Oktober 2004, ia menikah dengan model asal Swedia, Elin Nordegren. Pada 18 Juni 2007, istrinya melahirkan anak perempuan di sebuah rumah sakit di Los Angeles, California, Amerika Serikat tengah malam. Anak perempuan pertamanya diberi nama Sam Alexis Woods. Kelahiran bayi itu hanya berselang setahun setelah ayahnya meninggal dunia.

From December 2009 to early April 2010, Woods took leave from professional golf to focus on his marriage after he admitted infidelity, but he and his wife Elin Nordegren eventually divorced. He ended a career-high winless streak of 107 weeks when he captured the Chevron World Challenge in December 2011. Woods had back disc surgery in April 2014, and has struggled since to regain his dominant form. Woods has broken numerous golf records. He has been world number one for the most consecutive weeks and for the greatest total number of weeks of any golfer. He has won 14 professional major golf championships, the second highest of any player (Jack Nicklaus leads with 18), and 79 PGA Tour events, second all time behind Sam Snead, who had 82 wins.
